About Gravas

Builtbyoperatorswhohavedonetherebuild.

Gravas was founded by software executives who have spent two decades inside the companies our clients are now trying to become, and who are still writing the code.

Why we exist

A different kind of AI company.

Most AI companies today fall into one of two camps. Model labs and infrastructure vendors sell capability that enterprises struggle to operationalize. Consulting firms sell roadmaps and slide decks that enterprises struggle to ship.

Gravas was built to close the gap between them. We are an AI innovation company: a platform, products built on it, transformation engagements where the strategy team is the implementation team, and training for the next generation of AI-native operators.

Four reinforcing pillars, one company. Every engagement makes the platform sharper. Every platform improvement makes the next engagement faster. Every product surfaces real problems we feed back into both.

The team

Operators, not advisors.

The people who run Gravas have spent careers as the executives our clients are. We have been the CTO, the COO, the CPO, and the CPTO in PE-backed and founder-led software companies, growing through scale, integrating acquisitions, and running operations under sponsor pressure.

We have delivered 2x revenue growth in fourteen months, 34% cost takeouts, margin expansions from 50% to 72%, and operating discipline that powered two successful exits. We have led M&A integrations across four acquired companies.

We are still hands-on. The technical patterns inside the Gravas platform were written by us, in production, in companies we operated.

Founder

Mahesh Bhirangi, Founder

A 22-year career in enterprise software, AI, and operating leadership, moving between the code, the operating floor, and the boardroom as the situation demands.

Mahesh has operated as a hands-on CTO, CPTO, COO, and CPO across PE-backed and founder-led software businesses, owning product, engineering, customer support, professional services, IT, and cloud infrastructure simultaneously.

What is unusual at this level is that he is still hands-on. He personally writes production code for hybrid retrieval architectures, agentic AI workflows, and multi-tenant cloud platforms.

Mahesh founded Gravas because the same operating instinct that drove every transformation he has run is the missing piece in how most enterprises are approaching AI today. Strategy and execution have to live in the same team.

How we operate

Five operating principles.

Platform-first

Every product, engagement, and training program must strengthen the platform. Work that doesn't compound is work we don't do.

Ship, then refine

A deployed agent that solves 80% of the problem beats a specification that describes 100%.

AI-native by default

We use our own tools internally before recommending them to clients.

Outcome over activity

We measure revenue generated, cost reduced, and cycle time shortened. Not hours worked or decks delivered.

Own the full stack

If we recommend a rewrite, we do the rewrite. If we design an operating model, we implement it.

What we look for in partners

We work with leadership teams who treat technology and operating discipline as a single strategic lever.

The clients who get the most from Gravas have already decided AI transformation is no longer optional. They want a partner accountable to outcomes, not deliverables.

If your team is debating whether to start, you are not ready for us yet. If your team has decided to start and wants the right partner to ship it, you are exactly who we built Gravas for.
